Coming from a family in the real estate business, the importance of reputation and strong relationships was ingrained early on. I’ve carried these values through life and a career in corporate strategy, capital markets, and finance in the real estate and technology industries, ranging from early-stage to public companies. In 2011, I joined a talented team building one of the first national single-family rental platforms at Colony American Homes. The business eventually went public and later merged with Invitation Homes, today’s largest public owner of single-family homes in the nation. Later, I joined Zillow Group to help launch several of their new products to bring more liquidity to the housing market. The unique challenges of growing companies from an early stage, especially in the real estate world, bring an incredibly rewarding sense of adventure. With prior roles in investment banking and private equity, I apply a heavy quantitative approach to problems while putting people first. Like in The Wizard of Oz, you need brains, heart, and courage.
